Meet the Team
Garo Setian
President / Producer / Director / Senior Editor
Garo Setian is an award-winning filmmaker and trailer editor with over 25 years’ experience in the film industry. He has cut and produced over 500 Trailers and television spots, BTS special features and internet spots for films. He has been nominated for 32 Golden Trailer Awards including categories such as “best horror” trailer (2021’s BROADCAST SIGNAL INTRUSION, 2019’s THE WRETCHED, and 2017’s THE HATRED), “best thriller” trailer (2019’s 1BR) and “most original trailer” (The 2015 Ryan Reynold’s film, THE VOICES).
Garo won 3 Golden Trailer Awards for his trailers to THE EYE 3 (Best Foreign Trailer), DRIVE-THRU (Trashiest Trailer) and the Marvel animated feature DOCTOR STRANGE (Best Anime).
He has also been nominated for a Promax Award for his trailer to THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT 2, a Clio award for the aforementioned, THE HATRED, and won 3 Clios for his work on THE HITMAN’S BODYGUARD.
Garo’s feature film work has also been noteworthy. His Award winning and critically acclaimed Sci-Fi films, 2023’s SPACE WARS: QUEST FOR THE DEEPSTAR and 2019’s AUTOMATION have both been released theatrically and on home entertainment (Through Epic Pictures and Uncork’d Entertainment) both digitally and on physical media.
Garo edits his own films and gives them a dynamic and exciting quality that his years in trailer editing helped refine. He is a true storyteller with a big vision to make entertaining movies that are both thrilling and heartfelt.
A lifelong film fan, Garo used to make his own movies using super 8mm film and later worked in public access television making over 100 television shows. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from USC School of Cinema-Television in addition to a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from New York University.
In addition to starting Hungry Monster Entertainment in 2015 with his wife Anahit Setian, Garo has worked as a trailer editor at Artisan Enterainment in 2003 and Lionsgate Entertainment from 2004 thru 2019 where he became an in-house Senior Editor.
Garo and his wife Anahit, operate HUNGRY MONSTER ENTERTAINMENT as both a trailer and film production company and it represents the culmination of everything they have learned working in the entertainment business.
With a passion for the entertainment industry, Anahit Setian graduated with a BA degree in Film and Television from California State University Los Angeles. She has worked in film and television production for over 20 years with experience in Producing, Directing, Writing, Casting and Editing.
Anahit has been acting since she was 11 years old. In 2003 Anahit took time off to start a family. During this time, she also pursued her study of acting. She was a longtime member of the Harvey Lembeck Comedy Workshop and studied at the Howard Fine Acting studio. Two beautiful children later, when she came back to the entertainment industry, it was to her first love of acting.
In 2015, together with her husband Garo Setian they created Hungry Monster Entertainment, a trailer house as well as a production company showcasing their combined talents.
Anahit also writes, produces, directs, and acts in short skits for churches who want to put on a show for varying holidays throughout the year as well as for church Conferences. She is also part of the Worship Team at West Valley Christian Church where she performs live every month.
Today, Anahit continues to balance motherhood, running a business with her husband Garo and performing. Her last two films “Space Wars: Quest for the Deepstar" and "Automation", were produced together with her husband inhouse at Hungry Monster Entertainment.
HUNTER SETIAN
Editor
The love of visual storytelling became engrained in Hunter at an early age. Weather it was watching his Dad edit or accompanying his Mom to auditions for film and stage, Hunter got a backstage look and an early education on how the entertainment industry is run.
Before graduating High School in 2022, Hunter's Dad asked him what he would like to do for a career. Hunter said he was interested in editing trailers and working in film. And with that, Garo began training him in the art of cutting trailers.

Having been surrounded by his Dad's work his whole life, Hunter was a fast learner. And within three years he has cut over 55 Trailers and spots, in addition to securing 4 Golden Trailer Nominations for his trailers to the films KILLHER, HOW TO KILL MONSTERS, LIFELINE and LET'S START A CULT.

Hunter has also has worked in various departments on Hungry Monster Entertainment's second movie, SPACE WARS: QUEST FOR THE DEEPSTAR. He assisted the art department. He tried his hand at acting by playing the role of Ezekiel. And he assited his father in the editing of the film including cutting several scenes himself.

He is a naturally gifted storyteller with an incredible understanding of how editing can maximize the effectiveness in both movies and trailers. It is his dream to take Hungry Monster Entertainment to new heights on all fronts.

Hunter is also an avid Yu-Gi-Oh player having been invited to Nationals in 2024. In his spare time he also edits for blogger content.
